Leaflets warn the civilians of setting up tents in the countryside of Deir Ezzor or grazing cattle near the countryside
Deir Ezzor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the International Coalition’s warplanes carried out at the dawn of Thursday the 24th of August, airstrikes targeting the building of the Agricultural Bank in the town of al-Basira in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which was used by the organization as a warehouse of tanks, armored vehicles and ammunition, causing destruction to the building, and there was no information about casualties. Local sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the “Islamic state” organization transferred the tanks and the ammunition to other warehouses about two days ago.
Reliable sources also asserted to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the International Coalition dropped leaflets in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in which it demanded the residents not to set up tents in the desert or to place tankers near them and graze cattle in the area, as the International Coalition concern about the cover-up of the “Islamic State” organization in those ways, and the organization might disguise as citizens living in the desert. Sources also suggested that the International Coalition intends to escalate its shelling or carry out a military operation by allied groups in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor in order to reach the southern countryside of Hasaka.
