With about 20 missile strikes… the regime forces escalate their shelling on areas controlled by Al-Rahman Corps in the Eastern Ghouta

The regime forces renewed their shelling after midnight on places in Jobar neighborhood, located at the eastern outskirts of Damascus, and other areas in Ein Tarma town and at its outskirts in the Eastern Ghouta. The SOHR learned that the regime forces targeted both areas with about 20 missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground, causing material damages only.

The SOHR published last night that the regime forces fired a missile, believed to be ground-to-ground, on an area at the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood located at the eastern outskirts of Damascus. No casualties were reported. Such shelling followed the calm that prevailed east of Damascus and the Eastern Ghouta since the afternoon of Wednesday, the 23rd of August 2017, especially at the fighting fronts between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and Al-Rahman Corps on the other in the cities and towns of the Eastern Ghouta and at the outskirts of the capital.
