10 casualties at least of two families were killed by warplanes of the International Coalition after killing more than 800 persons in Al-Raqqah city since the start of the grand battle
Al-Raqqah Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that 10 citizens were killed by the bombing by warplanes of the International Coalition on areas controlled ISIS in Al-Raqqah city, the casualties are a man and his wife and 5 of their children, including 3 females, and 4 members of another family, while the number of casualties is expected to increase because of the presence of injuries in serious cases as well as the presence of missing people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that a number of families managed to escape from areas which are controlled by ISIS in Al-Raqqah city, and reliable sources confirmed to SOHR that dozens of citizens, children and women escaped from areas controlled by the organization in the city, and reached areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, while violent clashes are taking place between the SDF supported by the US Special Forces on one hand, and members of ISIS on the other hand, in areas in the vicinity of the city, amid the ability of the SDF to achieve advancement in areas in the city, and the exchange of control in positions used to be controlled by the organization, where the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting between the both parties, and shelling by the forces of “Euphrates Wrath” Operation on areas in the city, and shelling by the members of the organization on the positions of the SDF, which caused casualties in the ranks of the both parties.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the past days that the city of al-Raqqa is witnessing displacement and fleeing of the citizens from the areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization towards areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, where tens of citizens managed to flee away from the shelling, the death and the clashes, while the massacres are coincided with the worsening humanitarian conditions of the civilians inside the areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in al-Raqqa city, where the death is surprising those who try to escape themselves and their families to areas far beyond the inevitable death. This fear is accompanied by the fear of death in the city of Al-Raqqa, as there is a lack of many food supplies and much shortage in some of them, and reliable sources confirmed the absence of vegetables and fruits in the city market in addition to the significant shortage in medicines and drinking water and their surging prices. Thus, the civilians still residing in Al-Raqqa depend mainly on grains, rice and legumes which have been stored by the city citizens or the shops. The SOHR published last Thursday that hundreds of civilians managed to flee during the last 48 hours from the organization-held area in al-Raqqa city and reached the SDF-held areas in the city, its outskirts and vicinity.
