Regime forces advance controlling villages in the triangle of Jabal Sha’ir – Shomariyyeh – Jib Al-Jarah

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and the members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in areas in the astern countryside of Homs, within Jabal Sha’ir – Shomariyyeh – Jib Al-Jarah Triangle, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces and within its continuous operations to achieve advancement in the area and to reduce the size of area controlled by the organization in the area in preparation for controlling the entire triangle mentioned above, and the regime forces managed to control 3 villages in the area, advancing in the north of Mannoukh area at a distance of more than 50 km from Homs city, the clashes are accompanied by shelling by regime forces on the clash areas, and bombing by warplanes, and information about confirmed casualties in the ranks of both parties.
