The regime forces blow up a tunnel in the capital Damascus killing and injuring at least 10 fighters of al-Rahman Corps and violent clashes in its outskirts and in the Eastern Ghouta
A violent explosion rocked the east of the capital, Damascus, that was caused by a bombing of a tunnel belongs to al-Rahman corps by the regime forces, which caused human losses in th ranks of the Corps, where the SOHR docuemtned the death of at least 10 fighters, who were killed and injured due to the explosion, and there is confirmed information about the death of 5 of them in this bombing, and the death toll is expected to increase because of the presence of several people injured in serious conditions, while the clashes violently continues between the regime forces and their allied militiamen against fighters of al-Rahman Corps in areas in Jouber neighborhood and other areas in the Moutahliq al-Janoubi (southern bypass), amid heavy artillery shelling by the regime forces on areas in the outskirts of Jouber neighborhood and Ein Tarma town.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that The regime forces renewed their targeting of the Eastern Ghouta. Specifically, they shelled areas at the outskirts of Ein Tarma town with 10 missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground. Simultaneously, they targeted with 15 shells areas in Ein Tarma and at the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood, east of Damascus, amid clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and ISIS on the other in the vicinity of Al-Motahalik Al-Janobi (the Southern Bypass) and Ein Tarma Valley. Meanwhile, reconnaissance planes continue to hover in the skies of the area. In addition, violent explosions shocked after midnight east of Damascus and the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta. The SOHR learned that explosions were caused by 8 missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground, fired by the regime forces targeting Jobar neighborhood. Simultaneously, they opened fire using their heavy machine guns on the outskirts of Kafrbatna in the Eastern Ghouta, causing the death of a child. Thus, the number of missiles fired by the regime forces yesterday at the outskirts of Damascus and the Eastern Ghouta rose to 38.
The SOHR published last night that the regime forces shelled an area in Harasta city in the Eastern Ghouta, causing material damages only. No casualties were reported. A man was killed by shelling on areas in Ein Tarma. The number of missiles fired by the regime forces on areas at the outskirts of Ein Tarma town, Zamalka city and Jobar neighborhood, has increased to 30 at least. The SOHR also published earlier that several citizens, mostly children, were injured as a result of the shelling by the regime forces on areas in Zamlka city in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, followed by targeting by the regime forces by heavy machine guns of areas in the city which is controlled by al-Rahman Corps and is considered its stronghold in the Ghouta. Meanwhile, clashes continue between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and al-Rahman Corps on the other.
