Hundreds of the displaced sit in in Daraa Countryside demanding to be allowed to return to their regime-controlled towns

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the SOHR learned that the northern countryside of Daraa has been witnessing sit-ins by the displaced from villages and towns controlled by the regime forces. Reliable sources confirmed to the SOHR that hundreds of the displaced from the towns of Namer, Kharbat Ghazala and Al-Sheikh Meskeen staged sit-ins at the bridge located in Um Al-Mayazen town demanding return to their homes in the towns controlled by the regime forces; the release of the captives from their towns and from Daraa countryside from the prisons and detentions of the regime; and unraveling the whereases of the ongoing negotiations regarding Nasib Border Crossing and clarifying the negotiation process regarding the crossing between the Syrian and Jordanian territories. Sources confirmed that some of the protestors set up tents in the sit-in area, threatening to persist until their demands are met.
