Leaders of Egyptian and non-Syrian nationalities within 9 members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed by an explosion without knowing its reasons in the outskirts of Idlib city

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that 5 members and leaders of non-Syrian nationalities were killed by an explosion took place in Al-Mal’ab Al-Baladi in the outskirts of Idlib city, including several members of the Egyptian nationality, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Wednesday the 6th of September 2017, that a violent explosion rocked Idlib city and it turned out to be caused by the explosion of one of the vehicles of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham carrying ammunition next to Al-Mal’ab Al-Baladi area at the northwestern countryside of Idlib city. Reliable sources confirmed to the SOHR that the vehicle blew up near an oil tank, setting fire to the area and resulting in the death of at least 9 members of Tahrir Al-Sham. The SOHR learned from reliable sources that the explosion occurred while reconnaissance planes were hovering in the skies of Idlib city. Whether the explosion was caused by warplanes targeting the vehicle or as a result of a bomb planted in the vehicle is still unknown.
