Renewed clashes in areas in Jobar and at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta

Violent clashes were renewed between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and al-Rahman Corps on the other in areas in Jobar neighborhood at the outskirts of Damascus and in other areas at the outskirts and in the vicinity of Ein Tarma town in the Eastern Ghouta. More casualties were reported at both sides.

Missile strikes were followed by the eruption of clashes in the vicinity of Al-Motahalik Al-Janobi (the Southern Bypass) between al-Rahman Corps on one hand and the regime forces and their allied militiamen on the other. However, no casualties have been reported so far. The SOHR also published earlier that that the regime forces targeted places at the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood with shells and missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground, amid clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and al-Rahman Corps on the other in areas in the vicinity of the area. The SOHR also published yesterday that the number of people killed in the targeting of Mesraba town, located in the Eastern Ghouta, by the regime forces rose to at least 6 including the head of the Civil Defense. The regime forces targeted the area with a shell and then with another with a very little time span in between, leaving dead and injured as the second shell hit the area while rescuing, providing medical treatment to and transferring the injured left by the first shelling to hospitals and medical centers. The Eastern Ghouta has been witnessing intensive shelling during the past few days, primarily on Ein Tarma. Shelling was accompanied by clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and ISIS on the other in areas in the vicinity of Al-Motahalik Al-Janobi (the Southern Bypass) and Ein Tarma Valley. The regime forces targeted Ein Tarma and its outskirts and the outskirts of Damascus with tens of missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground.
