The regime forces advance in the besieged circle in the Syrian Desert and expand their control to about 10 villages of Jeb al-Jarrah – Sha’ir – Shomariyyeh Triangle

The violent clashes are still continuing between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the members of the “Islamic state” organization on the other, in areas in the eastern countryside of Homs city, at a distance of about 50 km from Homs city, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces targeted intensively by shells and missiles positions of ISIS and its controlled areas in Sha’ir – Shomariyyeh – Jeb al-Jarrah Triangle, where the regime forces managed to achieve new advancement, and impose their control over 3 new villages, thus, the number of villages which have been controlled by the regime forces since Thursday the 7th  of September 2017, has increased to 9 villages at least, and this advancement comes after the regime forces turned the clashes in the besieged circle, from the eastern countryside of Hama to Sha’ir – Jeb al-Jarrah – Shomariyyeh Triangle, in the eastern countryside of Homs, to minimize ISIS scope of control in the area, preparing for ending its presence in the area completely.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that it documented the death of more members of both sides, where it rose to at least 185, the number of ISIS members, including 10 suicide bombers, who were documented by the SOHR since the morning of the 3rd of September 2017, while it rose to at least 69, the number of members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, who were killed in the same periods.

Also SOHR received confirmed information the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Hama is keeping bodies and wounded of Russian forces who were killed and wounded in the eastern countryside of Hama, where the Russian forces are looking them, also Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of more members in the ranks of both parties.
