The Gathering of Al-Bakkara Youth continues their battle and get closer to the hometown of the Sheikh of Bakkara

The Military Council of Deir Ezzor operating under the SDF, backed by the US Special Forces and international coalition warplanes, continue its military operations in the northwestern countryside of the city of Deir Ezzor, on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where the SOHR montired that the Bakkara Youth Gathering, which recently joined the SDF after defecting the Syrian Elite Forces, managed to advance and control areas used to be controlled by ISIS, and the SOHR monitored the advancement of these forces at the expense of ISIS to an area of about 19 km, getting closer to the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, while the distance between these forces and the eastern banks opposite to Deir Ezzor city is  about 23 km, while a distance of at least 17 km separates the regime forces from the eastern banks of the Euphrates River from the side opposite to the area of their advancement (Mahmida town), which is the hometown of Sheikh of Bakkara tribe, where members of this tribe are fighting along with the regime forces in the battle of Deir Ezzor, and if the Bakkara Gathering Youth, which operate within the Military Council of Deir Ezzor, managed to advance and reach the eastern banks of the Euphrates river near Mahmida area, they will be able to siege ISIS in an area of 700  square km from the east of the Euphrates. The Military Council also managed to control by firearm the road between Deir Ezzor and Hasakah, known as the Kharafi Road, which contributes to reducing the supply routes of the organization between Deir Ezzor and Hasakah. The clashes are coincided with clashes in the southern countryside of Hasaka between the fighters of Military Council of Deir Ezzor against ISIS in an attempt to advance and control villages in Markada area, in preparation for controlling the town of Merkada.

Meanwhile, these clashes are coincided with heavy targeting between the forces of Deir Ezzor Military Council and Bakkara Youth Gathering in areas in the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor and the southern countryside of Hasaka, amid explosions of car bombs by the organization in an attempt to prevent the advancement of the forces, which controlled hills and a village in the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and there is confirmed information about human losses in the ranks of both parties.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 9th of September that the hours of the last night witnessed the start of violent clashes between fighters of Deir Ezzor Military Council which is under banner of the Syria Democratic Forces with the support of the US Special Forces and International Coalition warplanes; against members of the “Islamic State” organization areas in the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor city, where the fight in this area is led by the Bakkara Gathering which recently joined the Military Council led by Yasser Al-Dahla, after about 300 fighter defected from the Syrian Elite Forces who were fighting in the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Deir Ezzor Military Council managed to achieve advancement and control hills in the area and at least one village, after violent clashes during which members of the organization blew themselves up in booby-trapped vehicles and explosive belts, amid continued clashes and exchange of shelling on the clash areas, and information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it is expected that a large military operation will be carried out in the next hours led by Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces, and supported by the International Coalition warplanes and the US Special Forces, in which the military operation aims to control the area extended from the southern countryside of Al-Shaddadi which is located in the south of Al-Hasakah province, to the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it obtained information from reliable sources that it is expected for a military operation to start during the next few days in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, which is connected to Deir Ezzor countryside and to the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces is preparing to start a large military operation that aims to end the presence of the “Islamic State” organization in the rest of Al-Hasakah province and in the countryside of Deir Ezzor east of the Euphrates River, the sources confirmed to the SOHR that Deir Ezzor Military Council will lead the military operation from two main points; one of them starts from the southern countryside of Al-Shaddadi, and the other one starts from the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor towards the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, which is known as “Al-Jazeera line” along the river, while US Special Forces arrived to the area to participate in this military operation which is supported by the International Coalition.

And reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on the 25th of August 2017 that coordination took place with Deir Ezzor Military Council in order to start simultaneous military operations, in which Deir Ezzor Military Council from the north-western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and from the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah will start these operations towards the north of Deir Ezzor, and the sources confirmed that this division in the scope of operations came according to the clans’ concentrations in the area, in which Deir Ezzor Military Council with its allied forces will start from areas where the sons of the clan fighters of Deir Ezzor Military Council are concentrated.
