Regime forces advance in new villages about 50 kilometers away from the Homs city

The military operation of the regime forces in the eastern desert of Homs are still taking place, where the violent clashes are ongoing in the triangle of Jub Al-Jarrah – Sha’er Al-Shomariyyeh between members of ISIS against the regime forces and their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in an attack by the latter since the 7th of September 2017, and the SOHR monitored the regime forces advancing and controlling 3 new villages in the area of Jub al-Jarrah, in addition to their control over a new village and a hill near it in the area of Shomariyyeh Mountain, and the regime forces managed to advance in the triangle located about 50 km away from Homs, with an aerial and missile continued shelling and the ongoing clashes left people killed and injured in the ranks of both parties.
