“Jazeera Storm” Forces continue their attack in an area about 6 kilometers away from the city of Deir Ezzor and control more areas

The operation of “Jazeera Storm” is still ongoing, which includes the southern countryside of Hasaka and eastern areas of the Euphrates River in the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes are still ongoing violently between the “Islamic State” organization against the Syria Democratic Forces led by Deir Ezzor Military Council and with the participation of the YPG and the support of the US Special Forces, where clashes are taking place at a distance of 6 to 7 km from the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, opposite to the city of Deir Ezzor, and sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the clashes are concentrated  in the vicinity of Ma’aamel area, while the SDF managed to control the train station and are still trying to make further advancement towards the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, which is opposite to the city, and if the SDF reached this area, they will be able to encircle hundreds of square kilometers of areas controlled by the organization near the eastern side of the Euphrates River.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the violent clashes continued during the last night between the forces of Manbij Military Council and the YPG of the Syria Democratic Forces on one hand, and the members of “Islamic State” organization on the other, in areas in the east of the Euphrates River, near the eastern banks of the river opposite Deir Ezzor city, in which crossed sources confirmed to the SOHR that these forces managed to achieve advancement in to the south-east of the areas which they reached yesterday, and impose their control on the Brigade 113, which is at a distance of about 6 km from the banks of the Euphrates River opposite Deir Ezzor city, south of Al-Ma’aamel area, and the clashes are accompanied by exchange of shelling on the clash areas, amid flying the warplanes of the International Coalition over the area, and information about targeting the positions of the organization during these clashes.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that YPG and the YPJ which are the main mainstay of the Syria Democratic Forces which include Deir Ezzor Military Council under their command, took part in the military operation which includes the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah and the east of Euphrates River, where it was expected that the YPG would start the second level of the operation which is known as “Al-Jazeera Storm”.

Deir Ezzor Military Council managed to advance in the areas to which they advanced yesterday, and controlled the hill, which is less than 7 kilometer from the eastern banks of the Euphrates River which is opposite to Deir Ezzor city, which is located west of Factories areas about 8 km away from the same banks, and if the forces of Deir Ezzor Military Council advanced at the expense of ISIS, and reached the Euphrates River, they would fully circling the organization in hundreds of square kilometers from the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that Military Council of Deir Ezzor operating under the SDF, backed by the US Special Forces and international coalition warplanes, continue its military operations in the northwestern countryside of the city of Deir Ezzor, on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where the SOHR monitored that the Bakkara Youth Gathering, which recently joined the SDF after defecting the Syrian Elite Forces, managed to advance and control areas used to be controlled by ISIS, and the SOHR monitored the advancement of these forces at the expense of ISIS to an area of about 19 km, getting closer to the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, while the distance between these forces and the eastern banks opposite to Deir Ezzor city is  about 23 km. The Military Council also managed to control by firearm the road between Deir Ezzor and Hasakah, known as the Kharafi Road, which contributes in reducing the supply routes of the organization between Deir Ezzor and Hasakah. The clashes are coincided with clashes in the southern countryside of Hasaka between the fighters of Military Council of Deir Ezzor against ISIS in an attempt to advance and control villages in Markadah area, in preparation for controlling the town of Markadah.
