The court of Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham executes 3 men accused of carrying out a massacre against members of Civil Defense in Sarmin

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that on Monday the18th of September 2017, 3 men were executed after they were arrested days ago on charges of “killing members of the civil defense”. sources told the Syrian Observatory that the 3 men were shot in one of the squares of the town of Sarmin in the eastern countryside of Idlib, while the tens of people were watching, where the sentence of the legal court affiliated to Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 7th of September that three people from Idlib countryside admitted to killing members of the civil defense in their center in Sarmin town which is located in Idlib countryside, after they were arrested a few days ago, and days after being followed by security members in one of the factions operating in the area, and the murderers confirmed in their admission, that some members of the gang entered the center and the others remained outside to observe the area, and they came for the purpose of stealing vehicles and contents at the Civil Defense Center, and while they were entering the headquarters, they shot the members of a night shift in the center in Sarmin area, and stole equipment and remained hidden until they were arrested by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and intimated factions, and information about the death of two members of the gang during the attempt of arresting them.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 12th of August 2017, that resentment increases in the east of Idlib, as a result of assassinating 7 members of the civil defense by unidentified gunmen, during being in a night shift, in the Civil Defense Center in Sarmin, in the eastern countryside of Idlib, where unidentified gunmen shot fire on their heads, then they stole the equipment which was in the center and escaped, without knowing their identity or their destination, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the 7 casualties included Mohammed Deeb al-Her a member of the civil defense and known as Abu Kifah, who rescued a female child who was still alive, at the end of September 2016, from the ruins of destruction after shelling by warplanes targeted several areas in the city of Idlib, which left six casualties, including children and an elderly man, in addition to dozens of rescue operations and picking up bodies and people who were stuck under the runes of buildings which Abu Kifah took part in.
