About 60 fighters and soldiers were killed during the first day of the battle of ((The Last Attempt)) in the far northeast of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that warplanes renewed the intensive targeting of places in Kafr Nabl area in the southern countryside of Idlib, where they targeted positions area of a rebel army, also warplanes targeted areas in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern the countryside of Idlib and other areas in the town of KafrZitta and Kafr Nabudah in the northern countryside of Hama, while the clashes continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the Islamic Turkestani party, Jaysh Al-Izza and the rebel and Islamic factions in areas in the northeastern countryside of Hama, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more casualties in the ranks of both parties, where it rose to 34 at least, the number of fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, Turkistan and the factions, also it rose to 22 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, also tens of both parties were injured.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that it observed that the Russian warplanes as well as regime’s warplanes carried out more than 140 raids targeted the cities, the towns and the villages of Khan Shaykhun, Al-Hbit, Murak, Al-Taman’aa, Latmin, Al-Labbanah “Al-Janabrah”, Tarmala, Kafr Nubl, Al-Tulaysiyah, Al-Shatheh, the vicinity of Ma’an, Al-Talah Al-Sawdaa, Khafsin, Blail, Tal Hawash, Al-Hamdiyya, Ma’ar Zita, Al-Bara, Al-Tah, Sukayk, Kafr Zita, Al-Lataminah, Atshan, the vicinity of Tal Bizam and other areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama city and the southern countryside of Idlib city, which resulted in the death of a woman and a man and the injury of tens others, while 3 persons including two relievers by targeting their car during carrying a wounded from the clash fronts, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that about 15 fighters were killed in the shelling, clashes and raids, while the SOHR documented the death of about 20 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them by the same explosions, targeting and clashes.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also observed the targeting by the factions to the area of Hama Military Airbase and the villages and the areas of Ma’an, Khafsin, Blail, Al-Tulaysiyah, Al-Zughbah, Al-Qahirah, Al-Talah Al-Sawdaa, Al-Fan Wastani and Al-Fan Qibli in the north-eastern countryside of Hama and the southeastern countryside of Idlib, the SOHR also documented that the air strikes targeted the civil defense centers in Khan Shaykhun, Al-Taman’aa and Kafr Nubl in the southern countryside of Idlib, in addition to targeting the hospitals and the medical points in the southern countryside, by warplanes and helicopters, they are Al-Rahma medical point in Khan Shaykhun, and Al-Rahman maternity in Al-Tah town which were directly targeted, as well as targeting the vicinity of a hospital in Kafr Nubl and the vicinity of a medical point in Ma’ar Zita.

Also Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the Islamic Party of Turkestan and the rebel and Islamic factions managed to achieve advancement and take the control of the villages of Al-Qahirah, Al-Shatheh, Al-Tulaysiyah and Al-Talah Al-Sawdaa in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, after consecutive violent attacks, which forced the regime forces to withdraw under the pressure of the intensive shelling and the violent attack, and the death toll of that were killed during the first 12 hours is still likely to rise because of the presence of serious injuries and missing.

It was mentioned that this battle of the last attempt, comes in an effort by the factions to achieve advancement in the area and take the control of the villages which close the distance between them and the strategic mountain of Zayn Al-Abidin and Hama city, while this battle comes after preparations lasted for days in which Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham intended to tell the citizens in the villages in the far southern countryside of Idlib and the north-eastern countryside of Hama, to leave their houses to avoid the intensive shelling which will be carried out on the area if the operation starts, thus, the area witnessed a displacement movement during the past days to villages far from the areas of this military operation, while Hama province witnessed months ago violent clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in which they managed to take the control of a large number of villages and towns, under a cover of intensive shelling, then the regime forces came and retook the control on the whole areas they lost.
