The arrival of about 500 displaced people from Hama countryside to increase to 2000, the number of who have arrived since about 3 weeks with the continuation of the military operations within the besieged circle

The besieged circle in the east of Hama and the eastern countryside of Homs related to each others, is still witnessing the continuation of the military operations which aim to end the presence of the “Islamic State” organization there, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights observed the continuation of violent clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and the members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in areas in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah city, and other areas in Jib Al-Jarah – Sha’ir – Shomariyyeh Triangle, which is located in at a distance of about 50 km away from Homs city, amid daily air strikes and intensive artillery and rocket shelling continuously on the villages that are still controlled by ISIS in the eastern countryside of Hama and Homs.

And the fighting which has continued since weeks in the besieged circle by the regime forces, is accompanied by the continuation of displacing tens of families from the gathering place in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights observed that more than 500 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women managed to flee and displace and arrive at the controlled areas of the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the north-eastern countryside of Hama and Idlib countryside, after they managed to cross the minefield which was planted by the regime forces on the line separating between the controlled areas of the organization and the controlled areas of the factions in the Hama countryside.

The reliable sources also reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that 10 citizens at least died as a result of the tragic health and living conditions, and the lack of medicine, as the area where the displaced people exist, suffer from the lack of drinking water and the great shortage of remaining food, amid bad weather conditions, thus, with this displacement movement, the number of people who managed to displace and arrive at Hama countryside, has increased to 2000 persons, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published days ago that citizens managed to displace and arrive at the controlled areas of the factions in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published that that the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them that are concentrated in Al-Sa’an and the line separates between the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the north-eastern countryside of Hama and Wady Al-Azeeb area opposite it, turned to arrest about 25 persons who was trying to cross the mine field which the organization planted in the vicinity of its positions in Al-Sa’an area, and local sources and other reliable confirmed to the SOHR that the 25 detainees are including 14 citizens at least including 11 persons of one family, including some citizen women in addition to a man and 4 of his children, in which the sources confirmed that the men of this family work in construction, they were all trying to cross to the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham by crossing the mine field, coming from  place where hundreds of families gather in Wady Al-Azeeb area and Ithriyah desert.

These arrests are coincided with the continuation of the military operations in the east of Hama, and the conditions of hundreds of families are getting worth day after day, with preventing them by the regime forces to cross to the controlled areas of the factions in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and to Idlib province, in addition to preventing people by the “Islamic State” organization to cross, where the both parties target every attempt of displacement of escape carried by the citizens through the mine field which was planted by the organization in the line which it controls and the factions between the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the controlled areas of ISIS, and local sources confirmed that families turned to try to cross the mine field, after they led in front of them a number of sheep and cattle, but the regime forces opened their fire on them which caused fear for the families to continue, so they returned to where they were within the controlled areas of the organization while the regime forces took the cattle,

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights observed on the 4th of September 2017, that about 600 persons, mostly children and women, managed to reach areas controlled by the factions and Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the countryside of Hama and Idlib through Wadi Al-‘Azeeb area in the eastern countryside of Hama. Some of the citizens arriving from east of Hama confirmed to the SOHR activists that they took a road controlled by the regime forces and managed to avoid positions of the regime forces through roads and valleys passing between them. They also confirmed that the regime forces opened fire on them using their machine guns, causing the death of two persons at least, Thus, the number of civilians whose arrival has been documented by the SOHR rose to about 1350.
