The intensive aerial and artillery strikes continue to target the eastern banks of the Euphrates River and the regime forces try to eliminate ISIS from the area
Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that more than 6 citizens were injured with varying degrees of severity, as a result of targeting by the organization to areas in Al-Jorah and Al-Qosur neighborhoods which are controlled by the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city, where information obtained that the shells targeted the convoy which entered to Deir Ezzor city, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that the clashes are still continuing between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and the members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in areas in the eastern banks opposite Deir Ezzor Military Airbase, in the countryside of Deir Ezzor city, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that the violent clashes is accompanied by intensive shelling by the regime forces and shelling by the Russian warplanes as well as regime’s warplanes, following information obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the members of the organization managed to besiege members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the eastern banks of the river, amid attempts by groups of the regime forces of which are in the east of the Euphrates River to lift the siege of them.
