Continuous violent clashes about 50 km away from the east of Homs city

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in the area of Jib Al-Jarah and Al-Masudiyah in the eastern countryside of Homs, within Jib Al-Jarah – Shomariyyeh – Sha’ir Triangle, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of clashes between the both parties, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve more advancement in the area after they managed on Wednesday and Tuesday to achieve advancement in the area, where they took the control of 6 villages and areas as well as heights in the eastern countryside of Hama and Homs.
