Rocket shelling on areas in Deir Ezzor city and violent clashes in the vicinity of Al-Sor town

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a person after being shot by a sniper of the regime forces in Maarrat area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, also areas controlled by ISIS in Deir Ezzor city were hit by rocket shelling by the regime forces, while the violent clashes are still continuing between the “Islamic State” organization on one hand, and the Syria Democratic Forces on the other, in areas east of the Euphrates River, where the violent clashes are concentrated in the vicinity of the vicinity of the Al-Sor town, and this is within the “Jazeerah Storm” operation which is led by Deir Ezzor Military Council, which aims to end the presence of the organization in the area and in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, amid continuous aerial and rocket shelling on the clash areas,  and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights today that the military operations are continuing in areas in the east of the Euphrates River between the “Islamic State” organization on one hand, and the Syria Democratic Forces on the other, and this is within the operation of the “Jazeerah Storm” which is led by Deir Ezzor military Council, which aims to end the presence of the organization in the area and in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and the SOHR learned that the violent clashes between the two parties are concentrating in the vicinity of Sor town at a distance of about 3 km, in a continuous attempt by the SDF to advance in the besieged town by them and to enter from two areas, they are the grains warehouse and al-Morur post, and the violent clashes and the attempt of the advancement came with a cover of intensive shelling by the International Coalition warplanes which target the contact areas and other positions in the town, amid information about that the forces of the “Jazeerah Storm” operation managed to capture members of the organization, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 23rd September 2017, that the violent clashes are still ongoing between the SDF against members of ISIS in the east of Euphrates River, within the operation of Al-Jazeera Storm led by Deir Ezzor military council aimed at ending the presence of ISIS east of the Euphrates and the southern countryside of Hasaka city, and reliable sources told the SOHR that the SDF managed to fully control the gas field of Koniko, which is the largest gas field in Syria and the neighboring gas field of al-Izba, while the organization seek to control the field and the factory near it, and the clashes coincided with explosions, shelling and exchange of bombardment between both parties after about 24 hours of encircling the field.

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the warplanes are continuing their bombing on areas in Hama countryside, where the warplanes targeted yesterday areas in Al-Bowib village in Jabal Shahshabu area in the western countryside of Hama, while violent clashes are taking place in Al-Dallak area in the southern countryside of Hama, between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions on one hand, and the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on the other, also a sell fell on an area in Taldurra village which is controlled by the regime forces in the countryside of Salamiyah city, without information about casualties, while the regime forces shelled areas in the western countryside of Salamiyah.
