The regime forces achieve new advancement in the positions of the triangle of the north of Homs about 50 km away from the city

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes are continuing between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in areas in the east of Sha’ir – Shomariyyeh – Jeb al-Jarrah Triangle, in the eastern countryside of Homs, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes are accompanied by exchange of shelling on the clash areas, and intensive shelling by the regime forces on the positions of the organization and its controlled areas, which resulted in the advancement of the regime forces and taking the control several points advancing in the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the regime forces managed to advance and control 4 villages at least in the triangle of Jub al-Jerah – al-Shumariyah – Jebel Sha’er, expanding their areas of control in the besieged circles in the eastern countryside of Homs linked to Akirbat area in the eastern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 21st of September that it learned that the regime forces managed to advancement and control 2 new villages in the area, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the regime forces were able to achieve more advancement in the area after they were able yesterday and the day before yesterday to advance in the area, where they took control of 6 villages and areas in addition to heights in the eastern countryside of Homs and Hama.
