“As a revenge for Qardaha”…field execution carried out by the regime forces against several people in Deir Ezzor two weeks after Isam Zahr Al-Dien threatened “not to forgive who fled from Syria”,

Deir Ezzor where a military operation is being carried out by the regime forces backed by forces, advisers and Russian soldiers and supported by the warplanes of the latest, in order to “clear the province from the “Islamic State” organization and set the people of Deir Ezzor free of the injustice of this organization”, witnessed a crime carried out by “liberated forces” backed by an aerial and ground Russian cover, this crime took place when a member of the regime forces who cross-sources suggested to be come from the hometown of the president of the Syrian regime Bashar al-Assad, executed 5 persons at least including an elderly man, by directly shooting them, after they were arrested and left in one of the rooms within a position of the regime forces in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor city, then he shot them after subjecting them of an investigation, assaulting and humiliating them, “as a revenge for Qardaha”, as he said.

This incident comes after about two weeks after the declaration of the Brigadier General in the regime forces and a group commander of the regime forces in Deir Ezzor Essam Zahr Al-Deen, after lifting the siege of the city which he threatened that he and those who are with him “will not ever forget or forgive” those who fled from Syria, in which Isam Zahr Al-Dien  said that “To who escaped and fled from Syria to any other country … please don’t come back, because if the country forgave you, we will never forget or forgive and I advise for you, nobody come back” with this speech, Isam Zahr Al-Dien advices sons of the country not to come back, because the “country” decisions will not stop him and his company to revenge, which may start this new war if he fired the fuse, then he return to justify his words with others came in the next text “my speech is directed to those who carried weapons against sons of their homeland, and against the Arabic Syrian Army, not against the citizen who fled from the disasters of the war” and followed by a speech in which he imposed the conditions of the return “we under the command of the leader of the country, and what the resident says is sent down, so we welcome who come back of those who are honorable and who love Syria, and those who will return to the embrace of the homeland, but the gunman who killed and maimed the dead bodies of the Arabic Syrian Army, we will never forget or forgive him”

It worth mentioning that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received back in mid-May 2016 copies of photos show the Colonel Isam Zahr al-Dien regime forces’ commander in Deir Ezzor; while he was standing in front of 2 beheaded bodies believed to belong to members of the “Islamic State” organization, where their head-less bodies were hanged by a rope and were raised at one of the buildings of Deir Ezzor, and at the same time the “Islamic State” organization published a video shows dead members of the regime forces who were killed in the battles of Maqbarat al-Nasara (the Christian Cemetery) south of Deir Ezzor city.

Also it worth mentioning that the regime forces back in March 2015 have beheaded 2 fighters of a pro- IS rebel battalion in the vicinity of in Deir Ezzor airbase, after they captured them in the clashes around the airbase in late December 2015. Crossed sources confirmed to SOHR that the regime forces published photos of the two heads on the WhatsApp account of one of the two fighters.

Also SOHR received back on the 12th of June 2015 a video shows a member of the regime forces mutilating a corpse of a man, expected to be a fighter. The video shows the member slaughtering the victim in a very cruel way, taking the victim’s eye out by a knife and cursing the body. He was surrounded by his friends who encouraged him to mutilate the corpse. The member appears in this video talking with the body “this is for all Alawite girls, you want to approach Lattakia and our relatives, we have lost very handsome young men, I swear by God I will drink your blood, you want to confront al- Assad’s men, you attack us by gas, come and fight us by guns”. 2 other members of the regime forces appear in this video ridiculing and saying to the member after beheading the corpse “May God reward you greatly” (expressing condolences), this is because you make troubles for your father.”

SOHR has not been able to know the place and time of this incident or to know the identity of this corpse.
