During carrying out the biggest massacre of its kind, continuous violent clashes in places in Hmimeh area near the administrative border of Deir Ezzor
Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: violent clashes are continuing in places in Hmimeh area at the administrative border between Deir Ezzor province and the eastern countryside of Homs, between the regime forces backed by militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve advancement in the area and minimize the organization scope of control and advance into the south-eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, accompanied by aerial and rocket shelling, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces backed by militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in Hmimeh area at the administrative border between Deir Ezzor province and the eastern countryside of Homs, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve advancement in the area and minimize the organization scope of control and advance into the south-eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, amid information about advancement by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them and taking the control of many points in the area, while the clashes are continuing between the both parties in areas in Shomariyyeh – Sha’ir – Jeb al-Jarrah Triangle, at a distance of about 50 km from the east of Homs city, amid shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that the regime forces managed to advance and control 4 villages at least in the triangle of Jub al-Jerah – al-Shumariyah – Jebel Sha’er, expanding their areas of control in the besieged circles in the eastern countryside of Homs linked to Akirbat area in the eastern countryside of Hama.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 21st of September that it learned that the regime forces managed to advancement and control 2 new villages in the area, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the regime forces were able to achieve more advancement in the area after they were able yesterday and the day before yesterday to advance in the area, where they took control of 6 villages and areas in addition to heights in the eastern countryside of Homs and Hama.
