Reliable sources from Salameyyi area in the eastern countryside of Hama reported to SOHR that IS execution using a big knife to behead a 54 years old Syrian citizen named “Ihsan Nayyouf” did not base on his religious beliefs because the family of this man has followers belong to both Ismaili and the Alawite sects as well as to Sunni Muslims.

These resources confirmed that IS kidnapped Ihsan with another young man from Ihsan’s farmland located on the outskirts of the village of Aqareb al- Safi after the Bedouin filed complaints to IS that Ihsan Nayyouf was mistreating them and talking with them using offensive and insulting words when they came to his village.

It is noteworthy that IS published photos of execution a man; they said that these photos were for a man from the Ismaili sect executed on charge of “apostasy”.
