More than 300 casualties of Hezbollah, the regime forces and the ISIS in the clashes of the desert and the violent fighting continues for the fifth day with intensive shelling

The Syrian Desert is witnessing continuation of violent fighting for the fifth consecutive day, between the regime forces backed by militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes are concentrated in Al-Qaryatayn city which is witnessing clashes of hit-and-run inside it, in neighborhoods in the outskirts of city which the organization controlled, yesterday dawn the 1st of October 2017, in conjunction with the violent and continuous fighting between the both parties, in areas in the east and the north of Al-Sukhnah city, in which the regime force aim to retake the control of Al-Taybah town and Al-Dahik mountain and other areas they lost for the organization, which is carrying out successive attacks, in order to exhaust the regime forces and disperse them, and delay their advancement in Deir Ezzor countryside, and the clashes between the both parties extend from the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, to Al-Sukhnah area and near the third station and other areas in Al-Sukhnah desert in the eastern countryside of Homs.

While the violent clashes accompanied by intensive raids by Russian as well as the regime’s warplanes and helicopters and the intensive shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on the clash areas and the organization’s positions, amid targeting by the organization to the positions of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, thus, the death toll increases to 305 casualties in the ranks of the both parties, documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since the 28th of September 2017, until today the 2nd of October 2017, in which the death toll rose to 172 members at least of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, including 26 members at least of the Lebanese Hezbollah and about 77 members of the militiamen loyal to the regime forces of Palestinian and Asian nationalities, while the death toll rose to about 133 members of ISIS of who were killed by blowing themselves up by using suicidal belts and by booby trapped vehicles and in artillery and rocket shelling and raids and clashes against the regime forces in the areas where they attacked, where the organization managed to recover Al-Shawla, Kabajeb and the mountain which is overlooking on Al-Sukhnah and other positions and areas where the regime forces managed to advance into, in the areas extended from the west of Deir Ezzor to the south-eastern countryside of Homs, before the regime forces returned to recover most of the areas they lost, while many areas are still witnessing clashes of hit-and-run between the both parties.
