Continuous violent fighting in Hama countryside between the regime forces against ISIS

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes are continuing between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” organization, in Akash area in the eastern countryside of Hama, and information about advancing the regime forces and casualties in the ranks of the both parties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces managed after they carried out their violent attack on Sunday, the 1dt of October 2017, to achieve advancement on the villages of Suha, Rasm al-Abd, Rasm Al-Abakiya and nearby hills and heights, advancing towards their forces which are concentrated in the area of Al-Tarfawi and Al-Sultaniyyah, at the eastern administrative border of Homs with the east of Hama, in which two villages separate the regime forces to meet their forces in the last area mentioned above, and if the regime forces managed to impose their control on these two villages, they will split the besieged circle and separate the controlled areas of ISIS in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah, from their controlled areas in Jeb al-Jarrah – Shomariyyeh – Sha’ir Triangle at a distance of 50 km to the east of Homs city, thus, an area of about 160 km in Hama is still under the control of the organization, and an area of about 525 km of the triangle of the east of Homs is also still under the control of the organization, and if the regime forces managed to take the control of the area remained under the organization control in the eastern countryside of Hama, they will end the existence of ISIS in whole of Hama province.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the 3rd of September 2017, until today the 1st of October 2017, the death of hundreds of the members of the organization and the members of the regime forces and the gunmen loyal to them where it rose to 536 at least ,the number of casualties of both parties, where it rose to 364 at least; the number of organization members who were killed and documented by the observatory, including more than 43 members who blew themselves up with a booby trapped vehicles and explosive belts, while it rose to 172; the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them who were killed in the bombing and clashes in Homs and Hama countryside, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that members of the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Hama retains the bodies or wounded members of the Russian forces who were killed and injured in the eastern countryside of Hama, where the Russian forces were searching for them, while the regime forces managed on the 3rd of September 2017, to hold the control of Uqayribat town after violent clashes and intensive aerial and ground shelling on the town which resulted in the death of tens in the ranks of the both parties, after that they lost it and then they managed to control it.
