An explosion in Al-Dana town in the northern countryside of Idlib

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion was heard in the northern countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that it was caused by an explosion of an IED near a hospital in Al-Dana town, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while confirmed information was received about the death of 3 persons as a result of the air strikes which targeted the area of Abu Al- Duhur Military Airbase in the eastern countryside of Idlib, in which the SOHR published hours ago, that successive explosions rocked the eastern countryside of Idlib this morning the 3rd of October 2017, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that these explosions were caused by 3 warplanes believed to be Russian which carried out more than 23 strikes simultaneously, targeted the area of Abu Al- Duhur Military Airbase, which is controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and where fighters of the Islamic Party of Turkestan are located, and no information about casualties was reported yet.

And theses raids come in the second day of returning the escalation of bombing on Idlib province, after calmness has prevailed Idlib since after the midnight of Friday – Saturday until Monday morning, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 208 citizens at least including 57 children below the age of eighteen and 48 citizen women over the age of eighteen, who have been killed as a result of raids on Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces since the 19th of September 2017, and the casualties are, 163 citizens including 41 children and 39 citizen women, were killed in the raids on the cities and the towns of Armanaz, Jisr al-Shughour, Sahl Al-Rog, Khan Shaykoun, al-Tamanah, Jarjnaz, and other areas in Idlib countryside, and 31 citizens including 13 children and 7 citizen women were killed by raids on Qal’aat al-Madiq, Al-Lataminah and the northern and the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and 14 citizens including 3 children and 2 citizen women were killed by bombing on the villages and towns in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented the injury of about 500 persons with varying degrees of severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, and the others are still in serious condition.
