Violent clashes in Deir Ezzor city with intense shelling by the regime forces on its areas and on areas east of Euphrates
Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in al-Husseiniya village at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River opposite to Deir Ezzor city were shelled by the regime forces, they also opened heavy machineguns’ fire on areas in the village, but no information about casualties, while violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the “Islamic State” organization on areas in the outskirts of Hawijat Sakr area and in the neighbourhood of Al-Hwiqa, amid violent exchange of shelling between both parties, and information about casualties due to the shelling and the clashes between both parties, also a violent explosion shook the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, caused by an explosion believed to a booby-trapped vehicle by which the organization targeted a sites of the regime forces east of Deir Ezzor airbase, amid clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against members of the “Islamic State” organization, no information about casualties yet.
