Violent clashes in Homs and the regime forces regain control of an oilfield in the area
The violent clashes continue for the 7th consecutive day between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities in several areas in the eastern and southeastern desert of Homs, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces were able under air cover by Russian warplanes and heavy artillery shelling to achieve advancement and control 4 new villages northeast of Jeb al-Jarrah area, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces managed to regain control of al-Hail oilfield and other points, which enabled them to reopen the road to Deir Ezzor in the area, where the regime forces are seeking to secure the road and restore what they lost to the organization in the last few days.
