Al- Nusra Front and the Islamic battalions take control over the strategic hill of Agoub in Aleppo

 

Aleppo Province: The rebel and Islamic battalions took control over Aghoub Hill in al- Brej area with information about controlling the military gas station near the Central Prison of Aleppo after violent clashes with the regime forces supported by NDF, al Quds al Filastini Brigade, Hezbollah and Shia fighters from Iran and Afghanistan. The clashes resulted in death of 5 members of the regime forces while others were arrested.

 

The helicopters dropped 2 barrel bombs on areas in Aghub Hill with ni information about casualties. The significance of Aghoub Hill, located in the northern eastern of Aleppo city, lies in the fact that it overlooks the Central Prison of Aleppo from the south, where the rebel fighters will be able to monitor the supply road of the regime forces from an to Handarat and Sifat areas.

 

Al- Nusra Front detonated a booby- trapped vehicle at the entrance of the town of al- Zahraa town which is inhabited by people from the Shia sect followed by violent clashes between local gunmen and NDF against al- Nusra Front, Ansar al- Din Front, the rebel and Islamic battalions. In the meantime, the helicopters dropped 2 barrel bombs on the clashes areas and a barrel on the town of Byanon in the northern countryside.
