After killing about 40 members of the regime and getting them away of Al-Mayadin city… the “Islamic State” organization carries out counterattacks to break up the regime forces and kill more of their members

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the outbreak of violent clashes again in the vicinity of the villages of Mazloum and Marat, which are located on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River opposite to Deir Ezzor Airbase area, where violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the “Islamic State” organization in areas in the vicinity of both villages, as a result of a violent attack by the “Islamic State” organization in an attempt to inflict more casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and trying to regain control of the areas lost earlier, in addition to break up the regime forces and slow them down preventing them from advancing in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In the same context, a areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor are witnessing shelling by the regime forces by artillery and rocket shells, in conjunction with clashes in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the organization, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the “Islamic State” organization and through its counterattacks was able to keep the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities away of the western suburbs of Al-Mayadin city, after they were ambushed by the organization yesterday, in conjunction with violent attacks by the organization, which enable it to keep the regime forces despite the aerial support by the Russian warplanes in addition to the violent shelling, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored more casualties in the ranks of the regime forces in ambushes and attacks, where it rose to 38 at least, the number of casualties of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities who were killed since yesterday afternoon.
