More casualties in raids east of Deir Ezzor raise the death toll to about 235 in the province including more than 110 children and women

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: An explosion was heard in Deir Ezzor city, caused by the fall of shells on regime forces’ controlled areas in al-Qosur neighborhood, which killed 2 persons and injured others, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of October 2017 that a missile landed on a school area in the Al-Qosur neighbourhood, which is under the control of the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city, which caused a massacre claimed the lives of 13 people at least, including 3 children and 3 women, and several others were wounded, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, it also caused material damage, and the fall of the missile comes in conjunction with the violent military operations that takes place at the outskirts of Deir Ezzor city and the eastern banks opposite to it and in the eastern countryside of the city, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and Russian forces; against members of the “Islamic State” organization.

In another context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 persons (a child, a sister and brother man and woman), in bombardment by warplanes on areas in the town of al-Asharah located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while a man, a woman and her daughter were killed in bombing by warplanes on areas in al-Quriyah town in the same countryside, raising to 233 at least including 50 children and 61 women, the number of people who were killed in aerial bombardment since the dawn of Friday the 29th of September 2017 until the 9th of October 2017, as a result of the aerial bombardment on Deir Ezzor Province, which has also wounded hundreds of people some of them were seriously wounded which may raise the death toll, while 2 persons were killed in bombing by unidentified warplanes on areas in Bokamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
