In Deir Ezzor…ISIS withdraws from facing the SDF and intensify its attacks against the regime forces and the Russian to scatter their ranks and delay their advancement in the eastern countryside of the province

The “Islamic State” organization did not miss an opportunity to strike the regime forces hard, which weakens and exhausts them, but the organization’s strikes are met by successive strikes by the Syria Democratic Forces which lead “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation in the east of the Euphrates River, and this fighting is taking place on the eastern and the western banks of the Euphrates River, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the violent fighting between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities supported by the Russian forces and their warplanes, against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the banks opposite Deir Ezzor city and its military airbase, as a result of counter attacks by the organization on the area, in an attempt to force the regime forces to withdraw and to cause the largest number of casualties in their ranks and scatter them, and also to delay their operation in the eastern countryside of the city at the western banks of the Euphrates River, which witnessed the ability of the organization to force the regime forces to withdraw from the western outskirts of Al-Mayadin city, which the regime forces entered on the 6th of October 2017, but they were got out of it in the 8th of October 2017, after ambushes and counter attacks carried out by the organization which resulted in the death of about 40 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them.

These ambushes and counter attacks which carried out by the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, were met at the same time, by successive withdrawals by ISIS in the fronts with the Syria Democratic Forces, which managed to take the control of large areas of the eastern banks of the Euphrates River in the north-western countryside of Deir Ezzor, in which they took the control of the last villages -Al-Sa’wa, Hawayij Ziab, Al-Kasra, Zughayr Jazeera, Hawayij Bo-Masa’aa and Muhaymida- after withdrawals by the regime, while reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the organization turned to withdraw to villages are still under its control on the banks opposite the extension of Deir Ezzor to the north-western countryside, and it also turned to withdraw towards the eastern countryside of the province, through areas that still separate between the advancement of the SDF and the advancement of the regime forces, opposite of Deir Ezzor.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past hours, exploding a booby trapped vehicle in Muhaymida villages by the “Islamic State” organization after a counter attack on Muhaymida area, where Sheikh of Al-Bakkara Clan in Muhaymida village comes from, who members of his clan fight side by side with the regime forces in the clashes of Deir Ezzor against the “Islamic State” organization, and reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the SDF are trying to advance in the villages which are still controlled by the organization on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River in the north-western countryside of Deir Ezzor, while attacks carried out by the “Islamic State” organization on Marrat area in the east of the Euphrates River, resulted in clashes that are still continuing violently until now, and which are accompanied by raids carried out by the Russian warplanes as well as regime’s warplanes on areas in the outskirts, the vicinity and places in the villages and the towns Hatla, Marrat, Al-Husseiniyah and Al-Salihiyah, amid intensive shelling by the regime forces on the same areas, in conjunction with renewed violent fighting, between the regime forces against the organization in Al-Mayadin desert, which accompanied by throwing light grenades by the regime forces, amid raids carried out by warplanes on areas in Al-Mayadin city and Al-Quriyah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the intensive raids by the Russian warplanes as well as regime’s warplanes and the violent clashes resulted in the death of 32 members at least of ISIS and the injury of others with varying degrees of severity.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 239 citizens at least including 51 children below the age of eighteen and 63 citizen woman over the age of eighteen, of who have been killed in the bombing, since the dawn of Friday the 29th of September 2017 until the 10th of October 2017, and resulted in more destruction in the infrastructure of the city and the injury of hundreds of citizen some of them have seriously wounded, which may raise the death toll, while the intensive raids resulted in the displacement of 100 thousand citizens from the villages extended from Al-Bomar town to Al-Bokamal and Al-Mayadin cities, including tens of thousands of children and citizen women, who left their houses in their villages, towns and cities, heading to Deir Ezzor desert, avoiding the intensive bombing accompanies by the Russian supported operations of the regime forces in Deir Ezzor, and “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation backed by the International Coalition, which were accompanied by the displacement of about 50 thousand citizens from the villages and the towns of Hatla, Al-Salihiyah, Marrat, Mazlum, Khesham, Tabyat Jazeera, Jadeed Bakkara, Jadeed Ekaydat, Al-Dahlah and Al-Sabha, in the eastern banks of  the Euphrates River to areas far from the shelling and the clashes and before the start of the regime’s military operation, which aims to advance into the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and Al-Mayadin city.
