After the great reinforcements which carried out the clashes of the “counter attacks”…ISIS brings about 1000 non-Syrian fighters from “Al-Qaradish” in Iraq

“Al-Qaradish” front leads the military operations in Deir Ezoor and the desert and about 570 casualties as well as hundreds of wounded during two week of clashes there

the clashes of the “counter attacks” of the “Islamic State” organization finished its second week, today the 12th of October 2017, which started at dawn of the 28th of September 2017, by violent counter attack carried out by the organization targeted positions of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities as well as the Russian forces and their controlled areas, in the western desert of Deir Ezzor, the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, opposite Deir Ezzor city at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, Al-Sukhnah desert and the south-eastern desert of Homs, and the organization managed through this attack to strike the regime forces consecutively, in which it scattered their forces and caused large number of human losses in their ranks, in addition, the organization managed to take the control of important areas, in which it managed by carrying out an infiltration into the south-eastern countryside of Homs, to take the control of Al-Qaryatayn city which is lacated deep in the controlled areas of the regime forces, and the organization also took the control of Al-Taybah town and Dahik mountain in the north of Al-Sukhnah as well as controlling other positions and points, and it managed to block Deir Ezzor – Al-Sukhnah – Damascus Road, days ago, then the regime managed to take the control of the road, before the organization managed to monitor it by firearm and target it again.

The counter attacks of the “Islamic State” organization was carried out for another goal, it was to delay the operation of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and the operation of the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, opposite Deir Ezzor city, but the regime forces started wide advancement into the desert adjacent the villages on the western banks of the Euphrates River, and reached the western outskirts of Al-Mayadin city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, before they were expelled by the organization on the 8th of October 2017, the thing that made the regime forces to wrap around Al-Mayaden which the organization took the capital of “Al-Khair State”, and to advance toward Mahkan desert, in which the regime forces were received a hard strike, which left tens of casualties, injuries and prisoners of their ranks in Mahkan desert in the east of Al-Mayadin, as a result of a new counter attack by the organization on the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from a number of reliable sources, that these successive attacks came as a result of the arrival of great military reinforcements to the “Islamic State” organization in Deir Ezzor province, in which the sources confirmed to the SOHR that about 1000 commander and fighters of the organization had arrived at its controlled areas in Deir Ezzor countryside, during the past 72 hours, of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, most of them are of Asian nationalities, and some of the fighters are of a brigade called “Al-Qa’qa’ Brigade” operating in Iraq, and the fighters deployed in different fronts in Deir Ezzor and the Syrian Desert, after two weeks of the arrival of hundreds of fighters of ISIS from Iraq of non-Syrian nationalities, who carried out side by side with the members existed before, an attack on the Syrian territory which targeted the western desert of Deir Ezzor and the eastern and the south eastern countryside of Homs, the SOHR also obtained information form reliable sources, that the 1000 fighters coming from Iraq, are gathering in a front in the “Islamic State” organization called “Al-Qaradish” which is composed of fighters Uzbek, Tajik, Azeri and Turkistan nationalities, in which this front received the command of the military operations in Al-Mayadin city and the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and it’s known about this front that it doesn’t trust the Syrian or the Arab members operating in the “Islamic State” organization.

While these clashes left a large number of casualties in the ranks of the both parties, in which it has increased to 569 members of the both parties of who were killed since the 28th of September 2017, until the 12th of October 2017, in which the death toll has increased to 271 members at least of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, including 26 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah and about 100 members of the militiamen loyal to the regime forces of non-Syrian nationalities, while the death toll rose to about 298 members of ISIS of who were killed by blowing themselves up by using explosive belts and by booby trapped vehicles and in artillery and rocket shelling and raids and clashes against the regime forces in the areas where they attacked.
