Violent attack by the “Islamic State” organization on al-Rahjan after 4 days of being expelled from it by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham

Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the warplanes carried out again raids on areas in the northern countryside of Hama, where the airstrikes targeted areas in al-Rahjan village and other villages in al-Hamra Township, warplanes also bombed areas in the villages of Throut, Qasr Ibn Ward and Rwidah, while the regime forces bombed areas in the village of Qnitrat in the southern countryside of Hama, and no information about casualties yet, also areas in the vicinity of al-Rahjan witnessed violent clashes between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against members of the “Islamic State” organization, after an attack by the last mentioned on the area in an attempt to regain control of it, the clashes were accompanied by heavy and intense shelling between both parties, and confirmed information about casualties in their ranks. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 14th of October 2017, that Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham managed to achieve a new advancement represented by regaining control of al-Rahjan village; they were also able to capture members from the organization in the village.
