Warplanes target Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham in the countryside of Hama, and kill 16 of them including a leader

Hama province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the SOHR learned that warplanes, whether they belong to Russia or the regime forces is not known, targeted after Saturday – Sunday midnight headquarters and positions of Hatyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the villages of Al-Rahjan, Al-Shakoziya, Umm Amyal and other places in the northeastern countryside of Hama, and the targeting left causalities, where the SOHR documented 16 fighters of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham including a leader, who were killed in these targeting, most of them were killed in Al-Rahjan, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the large number of injured people, some of whom are in serious conditions, in addition to other information about fighters killed in the targeting. It is noteworthy that the targeted area has been witnessing since 9th of October daily clashes between Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham on one hand, and ISIS on the other after the organization managed to control more than 15 villages and residential compound, and other positions.

The SOHR published then that ISIS crossed with its heavy vehicles and weapons the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and started attacking these areas, and managed to rapidly advance and take over about 15 villages, but Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham carried out repel attacks and managed to retake most of the villages and points they lost, where the Hayaat regained control over Al-Rahjan village on 13th of October 2017.
