More casualties raise the death toll to 24 in al-Qosur neighborhood by a warplane believed to Russian

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the number of casualties continues rise in Deir Ezzor city as a result of the fall of a rocket on area in al-Qosur neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city which is controlled by the regime forces, where it rose to 24 at least, the number of people who were killed due to the fall of a missile launched by a warplane believed to Russian on al-Qosur neighbourhood, which used to be besieged by the “Islamic State” organization before breaking the siege of Deir Ezzor city by the regime forces on the 10th of September 2017, also the fall of the missile has caused a large number of injuries, some of them were wounded badly.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of October 2017 that a missile landed on a school area in the Al-Qosur neighbourhood, which is under the control of the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city, which caused a massacre claimed the lives of 13 people at least, including 3 children and 3 women, and several others were wounded, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, it also caused material damage, and the fall of the missile comes in conjunction with the violent military operations that takes place at the outskirts of Deir Ezzor city and the eastern banks opposite to it and in the eastern countryside of the city, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and Russian forces; against members of the “Islamic State” organization.
