Military operations escalate in Deir Ezzor city and the regime forces re-control the land that witnessed the kill of the man who “legalized the civil war”

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces supported by gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in Deir Ezzor city, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces achieved a new advancement in the area, and re-controlled the whole town of Hwyjet Sakr, after losing sites and points in the area during the past few days, as a result of the violent and sudden counterattacks by members of the “Islamic State” organization, which left casualties in the ranks of both parties.

This advancement in Hwyjet Sakr comes in conjunction with violent clashes between both parties, which are still taking place in the contact areas in the rest of Deir Ezzor city’s neighborhoods, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces were able to advance in points and locations of the organization within the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city, of which the regime forces had lost in the organization’s counterattacks on areas in Deir Ezzor city, where the “Islamic State” is in control of only about 7% of the city’ area, and the clashes are accompanied by heavy and intense shelling by both parties, which caused more deaths in their ranks.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory documented more casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where at least 6 members were killed including a commander of a storming group of Tiger Groups, which are led by the Brigadier General in the ranks of the regime forces Suhail Hassan, raising to 33 at least, the number members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them who were killed since more than 48 hours ago, including at least 14 Lebanese, Arab and Asian nationalities, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Saturday the 22nd of October 2017 that the regime forces assigned Brigadier Suhail Al-Hassan, known as the “Tiger”, who leads the military operations in the province of Deir Ezzor, to completely control the whole city of Deir Ezzor, which the regime forces reduced the areas controlled by ISIS.

And the regime forces managed in the 17th of October 2017, to achieve further advancement inside Deir Ezzor city, and they controlled the neighborhoods of Al-Kanamat, Al-Khasarat, Old airport, half of Hawija Katea, with a cover of heavy and violent shelling, while the regime forces are continuing their attack on other areas after the last control, in which the regime forces approach to end the presence of the organization from Deir Ezzor city after they imposed a full siege on the controlled areas of ISIS in the city from the four sides, and with this advancement, the regime forces minimized ISIS scope of control, in Deir Ezzor city, and  they control 92.3% of the total area of Deir Ezzor city.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published days ago that tens of thousands of people went out, in Al-Suwaidaa city to take part in the funeral which was held for the Brigadier General Essam Zahr Al-Deen in the regime forces, who were killed in the 18th of October 2017, as a result of a mine explosion in Deir Ezzor city, and after the death of Zahr Al-Deen, who legislated earlier for a civil war between the Syrian, through his declarations in the regime’s T.V channels, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a ((mass campaign)) of the regime’s supporters, in which photos of Zahr Al-Deen were raised in different areas controlled by the regime forces in Syria, such as Aleppo, Homs and the Syrian Coast, considering him – Essam Zahr Al-Deen – as “legendary national hero”

The Brigadier General Essam Zahr Al-Deen in the regime forces, and the legislator of a civil war in Syria, evoked great noise in Syria, between the “sadness” of the supporters of the regime and the “happiness” of the majority of the opponents, while some people started to tell different tales about the way he died, but at the end, he was killed as a result of an explosion of an IED regardless who planted it.
