((Faysh Khabur)) administration stops the crossing of all the humanitarian cases between Al-Jazeera district and Kurdistan region of Iraq

Al-Hasakah Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the administration of Faysh Khabur border crossing with Kurdistan region of Iraq, of the self-democratic administration of Al-Jazeera district, has temporarily closed the crossing, as a result of the military operations which are taking place in the side opposite the Syrian – Iraqi border, between the Iraqi forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces against the Kurdish forces ((Peshmerga)), and the crossing administration said that the crossing of the humanitarian cases through Faysh Khabur border crossing was stopped, and the crossing administration justified that it took such decision due to “the complicated and unstable situation in Faysh Khabur crossing” and it will be carried out from the 28th of October 2017.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that human losses fell on informal border crossing connects between the Iraqi territory and the Syrian side, where the YPG located, in which the Syrian Observatory confirmed the death of one person at least works at the border crossing, while four others were injured including 2 members of the YPG and the Kurdish Internal Security Forces “Asayish”, and the shells fell during the clashes which took place in the Iraqi side of the border, between the Iraqi forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces against the Kurdish forces ((Peshmerga)), at Al-Waleed area opposite the Syrian area of Al-Suwaidiyyah.
