About 130 families of the “Islamic State” organization reach Idlib Province coming from Al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor via areas controlled by the Kurdish forces

Kurdish Units search families of members of the “Islamic State” organization looking for wanted, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham assault the young men accompanying them

After the military operations in the provinces of Al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor, and after the escape of large number of members of the “Islamic State” organization with their family out of both provinces; the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of arrival of tens of the organization members’ family coming to Idlib Province, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: more than 127 families of the “Islamic State” organization members have arrived to Idlib Province, and spread throughout Idlib city and its countryside, coming mostly from Al-Raqqah Province and the rest are coming from Deir Ezzor Province, where those families went from Al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor to areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces towards Afrin area, which is controlled by YPG in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, and from there to areas controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham west of Aleppo and then to Idlib Province.

The same sources informed the Syrian Observatory that these families had crossed areas controlled by YPG after being searched and having their names checked, where YPG have a list of names of wanted members of the “Islamic State” organization, who participated in the battle of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), while the young men were severely beaten by checkpoints of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham before allowing them to cross.

These displacements were accompanied by another similar displacement in two other areas, where the provinces of Al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor have witnessed displacements of families of ISIS members towards areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, most of the displacements were carried out by an unannounced agreement according to which the Syrian members hand over themselves in exchange for getting their families out and securing their arrival to camps of displaced people in areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, also Hama Province witnessed a displacement from Wadi al-Azeeb area in the northern countryside of Hama; towards areas controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and the Syrian Observatory documented in the 11th of October 2017 that  sources confirmed that the “Islamic State” Organization has reneged the agreement between it and between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham earlier, and that their families of children, women, young men and non-fighter men will be entered to the areas controlled by the factions, and that members of organization are prevented from entering, and any member or fighter of the organization who may enter will be either captured or killed, where tens of people crossed the regime-held area and the mined area, towards the areas controlled by Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham, and within the numbers of civilian group who crossed, there are ISIS members, who refused to obey the orders of Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham to turn themselves in as usual during the transfer process of groups from Wadi al-Azeeb area in the eastern countryside of Salmiyah to the areas controlled by Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham

The Syrian Observatory learned from several reliable sources that the members of ISIS are used to turn themselves in each time to the headquarters of Tahrir al-Sham but this time, violent clashes took place between the two parties in the areas of al-Rahjan and Abu Lafa, fearing the same fate of those ISIS members who got arrested by Tahrir al-Sham and went missing. The sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the members of Tahrir al-Sham , who originally come from al-Shuaytat tribe, arrested during the past 2 weeks about 70 members of the organization fleeing the eastern countryside of Hama, which was recently controlled by the regime forces, including about 20 injured ISIS members and some of them need immediate treatment in hospitals and medical centers, but the members of al-Shuyatat arrested them and took them to unknown destinations, where tensions is prevailing among the families of those ISIS members, amid information about executions of them, while sources in Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham said that the captured ISIS members are being subjected to “legitimate session” and will later be released, while they don’t announce their whereabouts.
