About 25 casualties and injuries in raids by warplanes targeting the headquarters of Jaysh al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta

Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: violent explosions rock Douma city, which is the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, resulted from airstrikes that targeted areas in the city, leaving several people injured, some are in serious conditions, and these airstrikes come within the renewed airstrikes on the Eastern Ghouta after the warplanes resumed shelling late in September, after two month of lapse.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 26th of September that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the number of people who were killed as a result of the bombing which targeted Douma city which is controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, has increased to 4 persons at least, while the death toll is still likely to rise because of the presence of serious injuries, they are the first casualties to be killed by air strikes since the end of July 2017, in which these raids come after two months of being the warplanes away from the sky of the Eastern Ghouta, and the raids has stopped since the end of July 2017, on the cities and the towns of the Eastern Ghouta, after killing and injuring tens of citizens by raids by the warplanes on Arbin and the cities and the towns of the Eastern Ghouta, which followed an agreement to decrease the escalation which didn’t last because of the consecutive violations to the agreement which carried out between Russia and representatives of the factions in the Eastern Ghouta, in the 22nd of September 2017.
