After calm imposed by the weather conditions in the north-eastern fronts of Hama…the warplanes resume their strikes on the area
The warplanes carried out several raids this morning, on areas in Al-Rahjan and its vicinity in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, accompanied by renewing the intensive shelling by the regime forces, on the same areas, after calm witnessed in the hot fronts in the area during the past night due to the bad weather, which stopped the fighting between the both parties, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the clashes continued at less pace of violent, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, in areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that violent clashes are still taking place between the regime forces and their allied militiamen against Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the Islamic factions in several areas in the vicinity of the village of Abu Dali in the southeastern countryside of Hama, in a renewed attempt by the regime forces to reach the village and re-control it, and this coincided with heavy artillery and aerial shelling on the clash areas, while violent clashes are taking place between both sides in Al-Shakuzia area in the northeastern countryside of Hama, and there is information about an advancement achieved by the regime forces in the outskirts of the village, accompanied by aerial bombardment on areas in the villages of Al-Rahjan Sarha and Al-Shakuzia in the northeastern countryside of Hama.
it is noteworthy that these ongoing clashes in the north-eastern countryside resulted in the displacement of more than 35 thousand citizens from their villages, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 30 of October 2017, that the fighting is continuing between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, for the 7th consecutive day, since the clashes started on the 24th of October 2017, during which the regime forces managed to take the control of the villages of Al-Shahatiyyah, Joway’ed and Jib Abyad, as well as attacks during which they failed either to advance or to keep and hold their control on the positions where they advanced, in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, thus, these violent clashes cause a large number of human losses in the ranks of the both parties, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of about 90 members of the both parties of who were killed within a week of clashes, shelling and explosions, including about 35 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them.
