More than 25 airstrikes targeted the southern countryside of Aleppo in conjunction with renewed clashes and hit-and-run battles between the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham and the regime forces

Aleppo province – the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the southern countryside of Aleppo has been witnessing heavy airstrikes since Monday morning the 6th of October 2017, where warplanes targeted by more than 25 airstrikes areas in the villages of Sayala, Maizila and Al-Ramla in JebelAl-Hos area in the southern countryside of Aleppo, causing material damage, with no information about human losses so far, and areas in Kafrhot in the southern countryside of Aleppo were shelled by the regime forces, while the clashes are still ongoing with a violent pace between the regime forces and their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham in ongoing attempts for the fifth day on a raw by the regime forces to advance in the area.

This escalation of shelling on the southern countryside of Aleppo comes hours of the pace of the fighting and relative halt of shelling in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for human Rights published that the violent clashes continue between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions against the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab and Asian nationality, in areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the continuation of the hit-and-run clashes and the control operations between both parties, where the area is witnessing explosions caused by the intense shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas and on areas controlled by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham , amid exchange of targeting in the contact areas between both parties, where the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham carried out a counterattack after the advancement of the regime forces and controlling the villages of Rajm al-Sawwan, Abisan and Rasm al-Khala, during which they were able to achieve an advancement in the area, and information about regaining control of two villages of them, while the violent clashes left confirmed casualties in the ranks of both parties, also violent clashes are taking place in the vicinity of Khirbat Hosh village between both parties, amid intense exchange of shelling between both parties.

These clashes continue for the 4th consecutive day after intense and violent shelling and bombing by the regime forces, warplanes and helicopters, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today that violent clashes are taking placed in the southern countryside of Aleppo, between the regime forces backed by their allied militiamen of Syrian and non- Syrian nationalities against fighters of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, where the clashes are concentrated in areas, through which the regime forces try to reach the eastern countryside of Idlib and advance to Abu Al-Dhuhor Military base, which is controlled by Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham, where the SOHR monitored the regime forces advancing in the area, and controlling two areas and a village, within the ongoing operation for the fourth day on a raw, and this operation coincided with heavy shelling and airstrikes on the clash areas, and confirmed information about more human losses in the ranks of both parties.
