The fighting between Al-Rahman Corps and Jaysh Al-Islam continues with the increase of the fighting scope
Tension is still continuing between two of the biggest factions operating in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, in which the fighting continued between Jaysh Al-Islam against Al-Rahman Corps, in areas in the Eastern Ghouta, and the fighting concentrated in the contact areas between the both parties in the farms of Ashari area and the farms of Beit Sawa town and other areas in the outskirts of Misraba town from the side of Mdyra, which caused material damage, without information about casualties until now caused by the fighting which lasted for consecutive hours.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 28th of September 2017, that a demonstration of about 300 people was carried out in Hammuriyya town in the Eastern Ghouta, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: about 300 persons started a demonstration in Hammuriyya, during which the demonstrators demanded Jaysh al-Islam and Rahman Corps to get out of the Ash’ari farms area, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the demonstration was carried out because of the damage of crops in Ashari area as a result of the inability of farmers to reach their farms to take care of them, and residents confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the demonstration headed towards some of the checkpoints and removed them, but members of Jaysh al-Islam opened fire on the demonstrators and injured at least two of them.
Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: clashes took place after the midnight of Tuesday – Wednesday, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, in Al-Mahatta area in the northern countryside of Homs, and information about casualties in the ranks of the both parties, accompanied by shelling by the Islamic factions on positions of the regime forces in Al-Mashro’ area by mortar shells, and information about casualties and wounded in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, amid the fall of two mortar shells on areas in Qaniy al-Assi village, which is controlled by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Homs.
