“Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation Forces continue their battles against the “Islamic State” organization near a strategic center of the organization

Violent clashes are taking place between ISIS members against the Syria Democratic Forces backed by the International Coalition in areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the SOHR learned that clashes between both parties took place east of the Euphrates river near Al-Basira town, which is one of the strategic centers remained for ISIS in Deir Ezzor province, in an attempt by “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation Forces to advance and control more areas on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that  the Syria Democratic Forces who leading the “Jazeera Storm” Operation supported by the International Coalition were able to advance in the far southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and took control of Markadah town, which used to be the last town controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in Al-Hasaka Province, and with this, the organization loses its presence in the entire towns of the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and now ISIS controls only villages, farms and hills in the southern countryside of the Hasakah.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the  the Syria Democratic Forces are trying to achieve more advancement in the area and reduce the size of areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization east of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the Syria Democratic Forces were able to advance in the area and control sites and areas used to be controlled by the organization, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received confirmed information about the arrival of large military reinforcements to Syria Democratic Forces, in preparations for the battle of controlling the entire east of Euphrates.
