Airstrikes and artillery shelling escalate on al-Quriyah town west of the Euphrates River
Deir Ezzor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: Al-Quriyah town is witnessing ongoing heavy shelling by warplanes and the regime forces. The targeting of the town, which is located on the west of the Euphrates River east of Al-Mayadeen city, caused material damage, in addition to the shelling of the regime forces on the areas surrounding the town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the past 24 hours that the warplanes carried out several raids after the midnight of Wednesday – Thursday, on areas in Al-Sayyal village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and no information about casualties was reported yet, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that a man and his son were killed as a result of bombing by warplanes on areas near Al-Quriyah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and the SOHR also documented the death of 6 persons by bombardment by the warplanes whose identity is not known if they were related to the International Coalition, on areas in Harreza village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the warplanes continue their intensive shelling on areas in Al-Quriyah town and its vicinity, as well as other areas in Subakhan and Al-Asharah towns, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and a man was also killed and others were injured, as a result of shelling by the warplanes on areas in Al-Kashmah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
