Accusations against Jaysh al-Islam of shooting a doctor in the Eastern Ghouta and beating him near its stronghold in Douma

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the tension prevails al-Ebb Farms area near Douma city, as a result of beating the Dr. Nu’man Al-Fawwal during his movement in the area, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: unknown gunmen assaulted the doctor in the first morning hours on Thursday the 9th of November 2017, where they shot Dr. Nu’man and seriously injured him, in addition to that they severely beat him, and he was transported to receive treatment, then the group fled the area, sources close to the doctor confirmed that the resentment prevails the doctor’s relatives and the residents of his area, because of this incident, while Jaysh al-Islam was accused of carrying out the attack against the doctor, where sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the area where the group attacked the doctor is controlled by Jaysh al-Islam, and there is no other faction in this area, while the doctor has repeatedly attacked Jaysh al-Islam on social media sites in previous occasions, denouncing and criticizing its policies in the Eastern Ghouta.
