Al-Bokamal Battle rages and the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Revolutionary Iranian Guards and the Lebanese Hezbollah fight desperately to achieve advancement inside the city

The “Islamic State” organization is continuing its fighting in the last city to be exist in the Syrian territory and escalates its attack as a part of its desperate effort to repel the attack of the gunmen loyal to the regime forces, and to force them to retreat to the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city and its desert, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the last night another desperate effort in the ranks of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Revolutionary Iranian Guards and the Lebanese Hezbollah, to maintain their positions in the southern section of the city, and this appeared by escalating the support of the regime’s air force as well as the Russian air force, by carrying out tens of strikes on areas in Al-Bokamal city, in conjunction with the intensive shelling by hundreds of bombs and mortar, tanks and artillery shells and launchers, as a part of the efforts to force ISIS to leave the city, or to kill all the members of the organization of who exist in the city.

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the violent fighting is concentrated between the “Islamic State” organization against the gunmen loyal to the regime forces of Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi and Asian nationalities, in the southern and the eastern sections of Al-Bokamal city, which was the last stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, and the violent fighting, the explosions, the intensive shelling, and the exchange of targeting caused confirmed human losses in the ranks of the both parties.

 

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published about 24 hours ago, that Al-Bokamal city is witnessing violent fighting between the members of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the armed militiamen loyal to them of Lebanese, Iraqi and Asian nationalities, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the fighting concentrated in the middle of Al-Bokamal city, in which the organization managed to regain the control of more than 40% of Al-Bokamal city which was the last city to be controlled by the organization in Syria, and it was also the last stronghold of it in the Syrian territory, in which the organization carried out violent counter attacks started yesterday the 9th of November 2017, and still continuing until now, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the organization managed to take the control of the neighborhoods in the northern, north-eastern and the north-western sections of the city, thus, the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Revolutionary Iranian Guards as well as the gunmen loyal to the regime forces retreated to the southern, the south-eastern and the south-western sections of the city, while the violent clashes are accompanied by violent and intensive shelling by the gunmen loyal to the regime forces, in conjunction with explosions and shelling by the organization, targeted the positions of the gunmen loyal to the regime forces in the city, and confirmed information about casualties and wounded in the ranks of the both parties in these violent clashes.

 

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published two days ago, that it monitored the successive collapse of the organization, which was escalated dramatically in Deir Ezzor Province with the end of the first third of September 2017, with the start of “Jazeera Storm” Operation led by the Syria Democratic Forces in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor and east of the Euphrates which is connected to the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and by breaking the siege completely and effectively by the regime forces of its controlled areas in Deir Ezzor city, the regime forces and the Syria Democratic Forces escalated their operations against the “Islamic State” organization.
