IS militants stop teaching in the schools of Manbej City

 

Reliable resources informed SOHR that IS militants stop teaching in several school in the city of Manbej in the northern eastern countryside of Aleppo, where they sent for the teachers of these schools to undergo  “Sharia courses”. The sources informed SOHR that schoolteaching is going to return again after they finish these “Sharia courses”.

 

 

In the first week of November, cross- cutting sources informed SOHR that Islamic State has closed most of schools in the province of Deir Ezzor because as they said “ undergoing the teachers to Sharia courses, and until the completion of the preparation of a new educational curriculum instead of the blasphemous current curriculum.”

 

The resources also reported to SOHR that Islamic State held a meeting on Wednesday November 5, in a mosque in the city of al- Mayadin with the teachers and principals informing them about IS decision that is “ teachers must undergo Sharia course in al- Rawda Mosque in al- Mayadin until the completion of the preparation of a new educational curriculum instead of the blasphemous current curriculum.”

 

In addition to, reliable sources reported to SOHR in Novemebr 6, that IS informed the teachers in the city of al- Bokamal in “Al- Forat State”, located on the Syrian- Iraqi border, that IS militants informed the teachers yesterday that this is the last day of teaching, and that they have to enroll the Sharia course until new curriculum had been developed.
