The forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” continue their control operation on Al-Shahil town
Deir Ezzor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the military operation are still ongoing east of the Euphrates, and the SOHR learned that the clashes are still ongoing between the SDF, backed by the International Coalition against members of ISIS in areas in the outskirts of Al-Shahil town and areas in its vicinity, east of the Euphrates River, in an attempt by the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” to control the town and reduce the areas controlled by ISIS in the area.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that it learned that the SDF managed to achieve important advancement and they completely took the control of Al-Busayrah Township which is one of the most important areas which used to be controlled by the organization, thus, the organization is continuing to lose more areas remaining under its control in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The SOHR learned that the fighting are still ongoing in the outskirts of Al-Zer village and the outskirt of Al-Shuhail town, in an attempt by the regime forces to advance in the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and control the village and the town, and reduce the areas controlled by ISIS in the area.
the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored yesterday the Saturday that the clashes turning to villages and towns located at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where the Syria Democratic Forces who lead “Jazeera Storm” Operation were able to storm al-Busayrah town and controlled parts of it, amid continued clashes and shelling between both parties, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past few hours that east of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deri Ezzor is witnessing violent clashes and counter attacks accompanies intensive shelling, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuation of the violent clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the vicinity of the strategic township of Al-Busayrah, which is one of the most important centers that are still controlled by the organization in the Syrian territory, in which the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation are seeking for minimizing ISIS scope of control in the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and for ending its presence in the area.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today the 11th of November 2017, that the SDF managed to impose their control over Abriha village which is near Al-Busayrah Township, and this control came after violent fighting during which the organization was forces to withdraw from the area, and information about confirmed casualties in the ranks of the both parties, as a result of the exchange of shelling and the clashes between them.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past 24 hours, that it monitored that the clashes get concentrated at the outskirts of the town of Al-Busayrah, which is one of the remaining important centers of the “Islamic State” organization in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Syrian territory, after the Syria Democratic Forces were able to advance in the area and controlled several villages, and this advancement for the “Jazeera Storm” Operation has enabled the Syria Democratic Forces to complete their control over the entire banks of Khabur River inside Deir Ezzor Province, starting from al-Sor town until the east of Euphrates River near al-Busayrah area, thus extending their control in the eastern countryside to Deir Ezzor, after controlling over vast areas of the province reached about 32% of the province’s area, where the Syria Democratic Forces controlled the entire east of the Euphrates from the northwestern administrative borders of Deir Ezzor with Al-Raqqah Province, down to the area opposite the al-Sh’aytat desert east of the Euphrates, which includes the largest oilfield in Syria: al-Omar oilfield, and the largest plant and gas field in Syria: Koniko field, and the fields of al-Tank, Sijan and al-Jufrah, and the villages and towns of al-Sabkha, al-Sor, Jdid Ekydat, Jdid Bakara, al-Kubar, Mhimideh, al-Sa’wa, Z’eir Jzira, al-Kasra, and other areas stretching from the north of Deir Ezzor city until the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 8th of November 2017 that the Syria Democratic Forces who leading the “Jazeera Storm” Operation supported by the International Coalition were able to advance in the far southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and took control of Markadah town, which used to be the last town controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in Al-Hasaka Province, and with this, the organization loses its presence in the entire towns of the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and now ISIS controls only villages, farms and hills in the southern countryside of the Hasakah.
