Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions carry out a counter attack under a cover of intensive shelling to restore the areas they lost in the north-east of Hama and the regime forces prepare to advance in other areas

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the north-eastern countryside of Hama have been witnessing violent fighting between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions since this dawn, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the later targeted intensively the areas where the regime forces advanced during the past 24 hours, they are Sarha, Muwaileh Sharqi, al-Kikah, al-Hazm, Qasr Shawi, the Hills of Qasr Shawi and Mahsar, in conjunction with violent attack and fighting taking place between the both parties, through which Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions managed to advance and take the control of the northern section of Sarha village, while the fighting is still continuing in order to restore the southern section by the attacking factions, in conjunction with the continuation of the clashes in the vicinity of Hazm and Qasr Shawi villages, amid exchange of shelling on the clash areas, while Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions targeted an armored vehicle of the regime forces in Hazm village, resulted in the death and the injury of members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, while the areas of Rabda, Arafa and Qasr Ali are witnessing intensive shelling by the regime forces and the warplanes, as a part of the efforts of the regime forces to prepare for carrying out a new attack on the area, in order to increase their scope of control there.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that fronts of the northern countryside of Hama is witnessing calm in terms of clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces advancing more  in the area and controlling a new village, rising to 8, the number of villages, residential gatherings and hills controlled by the regime forces in the past 48 hours, which are Douma, Rabiah, al-Hazm, Qasr Shawi, al-Kikah, Muwaileh Shmali, and the Hills of Qasr Shawi and Mahsar, and this advancement came after a violent attack by the regime forces supported by artillery, rocket and aerial shelling, which targeted areas controlled by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, and it should be noted that the clashes in the northeastern countryside have caused the displacement of more than 40000 civilians from their villages, because of the continued clashes in between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions, in areas in the northeastern countryside of Hama since the clashes began on the 24th of October 2017.
