The forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River advance and reach areas opposite the towns controlled by the regime forces on the western banks
Less than 60 km separates the SDF from Al-Bokamal city in the area of the banks of the Euphrates River
Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the eastern section of Deir Ezzor is still witnessing the continuation of the violent fighting between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition warplanes against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the SDF managed to advance and they took the control of Al-Tayyanah town and Al-Shnan village in the east of the Euphrates, which are opposite Al-Quriyah area on the western banks of the Euphrates River, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling on the clash areas between the both parties, while the clashes are continuing between the both parties in areas in the outskirts of Darnaj opposite Al-Asharah Township, in which the SDF are seeking to take the control of more areas and reach the Syrian – Iraqi border from the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and this advancement minimized the distance between the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation on the eastern direct banks of the Euphrates River and Al-Bokamal city to less than 60 km, while these forces are located at a distance of less than 20 km from Al-Bokamal city from al-Kashmeh area.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Thursday the 15th of November 2017, that the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation managed to impose their control over Ziban town, where members in the ranks of the both parties were killed in the clashes, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information about capturing 2 members of SDF and executing them in Hajin town, while the warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition killed 4 citizens from one family and injured about 15 others with varying degrees of severity, in Darnaj village, and the SDF have managed since the 11th of November 2017, the date of turning the clashes to the villages and the towns on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and until today the 16th of November 2017, to take the control of area extended from al-Busayrah town to Ziban town, which includes al-Busayrah, Al-Shahil, al-Hwaij, Abriha, Ziban and farms and residential communities between them, while the military operation of the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation is continuing, in an attempt to achieve further advancement in the area, amid exchange of shelling between the both parties on the clash areas, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past 48 hours that skirmishes are taking place in the vicinity of Abu Hamam town on the same banks, in conjunction with exchange of targeting and skirmishes between the SDF and ISIS in al-Kashmeh area, where the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation advanced yesterday, coming from Al-Tank oilfield, to reach at a distance of 20 km away from Al-Bokamal city, and only a distance of 14 km separates them from Deir Ezzor border with Iraq, and the clashes caused confirmed human losses in the ranks of the both parties, due to the shelling, the targeting and the clashes between them.
